The collection consists of a letterbook of Henry Lathrop Turner from 1895-1897. Approximately five hundred letters addressed to several recipients address a plethora of issues. Several letters concern the Cotton States Exposition in Atlanta in 1895. Letters addressed to Alfred Orendorff, Mayor Porter King, Captain Henry C. Ward (and others) regard exposition grounds, pitching up camps and feeding regiments, running out of cups, setting up programs and parades, football games between athletic clubs, and battle exercises. Further letters addressed to Thomas Cratty, General George W. Wingate, E.P. Ripley, and A.B. Nettleton (to name a few) regard stocks, stock holders, franchises, and "the butter matter."

The collection consists of one handwritten letter on North East Harbor, Me. letterhead: undated, "Dear General Abbot," signed "D. C. Gilman." Gilman states that he is Commissioner of Juries for the Atlanta (Georgia) Exhibition and asks Abbot to be one of the select jury to judge the exhibits.

The collection consists of one notebook containing a hand written report submitted by Edwin D. Newton regarding Clarke County's exhibits in the Cotton States and International Exposition held in Atlanta from September 18-December 31, 1895. The notebook lists "Best specimens of crops" (corn, corn on stalk, oats, sweet potatoes, etc.), and "Collective displays". The entries are listed by type of item, number of items, and name of producer. Page [84] list's divisions of Clarke County represented at the exposition.

The collection consists of the papers of Rebecca Latimer Felton, from 1851 to 1930. The papers include correspondence, speeches, articles, and scrapbooks; all reflecting her lengthy public career as author, newspaper columnist, lecturer, as she actively pursued her interests in politics, religious issues, penal and temperance reform and women's political rights. The papers reflect her involvement in the World's Columbian Exposition (1890-1894), the Cotton States Exposition in Atlanta (1895), and as a delegate to the Progressive Republican Convention in Chicago (1912). Correspondents include readers of her articles and letters and those involved in Exposition matters. Other correspondents include General John B. Gordon, Alexander Hamilton Stephens, James Longstreet, William H. Hidell, Bertha Honore Palmer, Lafayette McLaws, Florence Williams Olmstead, President Rutherford B. Hayes, Georgia Governors A. H. Colquitt, Joseph Emerson Brown and William Yates Atkinson and family members, husband William H. Felton, son Howard Erwin Felton, and Charles and Eleanor Swift Latimer.
